I am a sociologist and a technologist exploring the intersections of tech and society in the digital age.

This blog is rooted in the foundational idea that technology must protect and promote fundamental human rights.

The motivating question that I explore is how can technology meet that obligation and be a force for good in the 21st century?

I received my PhD in sociology from Northwestern University in 2017 and have since worked in Privacy and Responsible AI at Microsoft and Meta.
